In addition the Family Area will have its own stage area with free workshops and entertainment running all afternoon.

Discover the art of Poi
Poi is a form of juggling where balls on strings are swung around the body. It originates from the Maori people of New Zealand who used it to increase strength, flexibility and coordination. Poi experts Combust will be running free Poi workshops throughout the afternoon in the Family Area so why not come along and have a go. A spectacular visual display.
Dance and percussion workshops
Arabiah will be running workshops for older children and adults to have a go at belly dancing or drumming. Explore the music of the Middle East, North Africa, Spain, Turkey, Europe and the British Isles and see how these styles can be interpreted to form danceable and interesting pieces. Look out for their performance on the acoustic stage later in the evening.
